Item H3: 1 LIMBER PINE 2013 CROP SEEDLING
Out of stock
This item is a package of 1 limber pine (Pinus flexilis) seedling. This seedling is 3 to 5 inches tall and is from our 2013 crop. These seedlings are container grown and will be shipped in the container that they are growing in. The limber pine (Pinus flexilis) is native to the 5,000 to 11,000 foot elevations in northern Arizona, Utah, Nevada, California and the eastern slopes of the Rockies. It grows at a slow to moderate rate to 30 to 55 feet tall and 15 to 25 wide. In youth, it forms a rather straggly pyramid, in maturity it develops a thick trunk and an open, round top. Many of its limber branches may droop. It takes well to shearing and makes a good bonsai subject. The limber pine is hardy in zones A1-A3, 1-11, and 14-21.
